Overview

Berlin’s pool of amazing architecture, the Jewish Museum Berlin is one of the most famous and stunning structures. The Jewish Museum Berlin offers an immersive art experience unlike any other.
The museum interior, designed by Polish-American architect Daniel Libeskind, is a walk-through art installation rich with meaning at every turn. The Jewish Museum Berlin is a vital cultural experience that is deeply inspiring, and unforgettable.
The museum is a themed labyrinth of symbolic spaces and exhibitions intended to convey a visceral journey through Germany’s Jewish diaspora.

The museum’s new main exhibition is rich, diversified, and interactive, examining Jewish history and culture from the Middle Ages to the present. The exhibition path takes you on a journey through history, from the Early Middle Ages through the liberation movement of the 18th and 19th centuries, then to National Socialism and the new beginning after 1945, and finally to the current day.
