On this full-day small-group trip, embark on a full-day journey visiting the attractions of North Cappadocia.
You’d have magnificent, narrow Cappadocia with fairy chimneys as well as rock-formed cathedrals significant in Christian history.
This 7-hour trip would include lunch and hotel transfers.
Your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel at 10:00 a.m.
Dervent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley, is the most fantastical terrain in Cappadocia.
Following a brief stroll filled with facts about Cappadocia and its history, we will proceed to our next stop, Monks’ Walley in
Turkish Pasabagi, where the first Christian hermits established their hermit cells.
All levels, as well as the famed mason-jar-shaped Fairy Chimneys, would have been visible.
Continuing on to Avanos, the Ceramics Centre.
The settlement is located on the banks of the Kizilirmak River (Red River).
We will watch a demonstration of kick-wheel pottery, and our visitors are welcome to participate in this tradition.
Following lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, which has the best-preserved early Christian churches.
You will observe the daily lives of monks and nuns in addition to churches and their masterfully restrained frescoes.
We’ll stop at Esentepe on the route to Uchisar for a breathtaking vista of Goreme Valley.
The day will conclude with a visit to the town of Uchisar and the Uchisar Castle.
You could see how people shaped the rock for their personal use as a living, working, and defensive space, which is still
primarily in use.
Around 6-7 hours, the tour will finish you to your hotel or any other central spot you like as the finish of your day
of seeing Cappadocia.
