Overview

This hot air balloon flights over Florence launch from locations close to the River Arno. You will soon be able to see the city’s major sites as we rise up. Progressively the entire city and the surrounding hills will appear under your eyes. You will live a unique experience.

To make it easier for you to arrive to our launch site we can collect you from your hotel or another agreed meeting point and take you to the balloon launch site.

PLEASE NOTE: The flight over Florence is available only for max two people and only in the evening. Also, the balloon’s ride over Florence will be held only if conditions are particularly favorable. For these reasons it’s not always possible to organize it.

Tips to enjoy your light.

Making sure you are physically fit, for example, flying is not recommended for people with heart problems, back problems, if you are pregnant, etc. Please consult your doctor and our staff if you are unsure of your physical fitness.
Children are allowed to fly over 7 years of age.
Dress in layers, the air is very fresh in the morning.
Wear comfortable shoes (grass is often damp early in the morning) as we often land in the middle of a large field.
The pilot is in charge of the aircraft, please follow his instructions and listen to the briefing, which includes safety information and landing position requirements.
Be on time for your flight appointment!
Passengers must call the evening before the flight for final confirmation.
Remember that around 80% of all balloon flights end with the basket lying on its side – this is perfectly normal.
You can safely take pictures during the flight, you won’t often have such a view!
Ballooning is considered the safest form of flight!
Passengers with recent lower limb operations and pregnant women are not allowed to fly.
