Saint Peter’s Church, one of Vienna’s oldest magnificent barroque churches, was constructed between 1701 and 1733 on the ideas of Lukas von Hildebrand. The earliest church in Vindobona, now Vienna, was constructed here in the 4th century under the Roman Empire. This devotion has been observed here since then. The liturgy, masses, and classical music make Peter’s Church a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
