Overview
Once taken off, we can immediately admire the majesty of the towers and the unmistakable architecture of the village , which someone called “The Manhattan of Chianti”. But the view also opens on the whole Tuscan countryside , on the vineyards that produce the excellent Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the olive trees, up to the distant Apennines with their white peaks of Carrara marble, where Michelangelo took the material for the his works.
Tips to enjoy your light.
- Making sure you are physically fit, for example, flying is not recommended for people with heart problems, back problems, if you are pregnant, etc. Please consult your doctor and our staff if you are unsure of your physical fitness.
- Children are allowed to fly over 7 years of age.
- Dress in layers, the air is very fresh in the morning.
- Wear comfortable shoes (grass is often damp early in the morning) as we often land in the middle of a large field.
- The pilot is in charge of the aircraft, please follow his instructions and listen to the briefing, which includes safety information and landing position requirements.
- Be on time for your flight appointment!
- Remember that around 80% of all balloon flights end with the basket lying on its side – this is perfectly normal.
- You can safely take pictures during the flight, you won’t often have such a view!
- Ballooning is considered the safest form of flight!
- Passengers with recent lower limb operations and pregnant women are not allowed to fly.
