We’ll meet and greets you at the hotel lobby and proceeds for your tour.
Firstly you will visit Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple where the 4th longest Reclining Buddha Statue is found.
Right across the road you’ll also visit the Dhammikarama Burmese Temple which holds a Buddha statue standing at 8.2 meters, making it the tallest in Malaysia. The existence of these two temples is due to the early settlement of the Thai and Burmese community in the early 1800s.
After that, take a scenic walk through the streets of George Town – UNESCO World Heritage Site and witness the ramnant left by the British and local dwellers of the past.
You’ll also visit the Penang Time Tunnel 3D Museum (Entrance fee own expense) where you may learn more about the detailed history since the days the British stepped foot onto the shores and how they gave birth to Modern Penang.
On the way, we will stop for some free sampling of Penang’s famous White Coffee/ Tea at Coffee Tree and also at Crown Pewter for demonstration – Witness how Malaysian handicraft is made. Then we’ll visit History & 3D Museum.
