Set out for a full-day adventure exploring the highlights of North Cappadocia on this full-day small-group tour. You would have spectacular wiev Cappadocia with Fairy Chimneys as well as rock formed churches as important for history of Christianty. This 7 hours day tour would include lunch and hotel transfers.
Starting from your hotel around 10:00, you will be greeted by your guide and the driver. Our first stop is Dervent Valley, also known Imagination Valley, most surreal landscape in Cappadocia. After short walk with information for Cappadocia and its history will continue to next stop would be Monks Walley, in Turkish Pasabagi where first hermits of Christianity built their Hermit Cells. Would have also oportunity to see all stages and famous masroom-shaped Fairy Chimneys.
Proceeding to Avanos. the Pottery Center. The town set on the banks of Kizilirmak / Red River. We will see a kick-wheel pottery demonstration and our guests are welcome to try their hand at this tradition.
After having lunch on local restaurant will Goreme Open Air Museum which host most preserved churches of early christianity. Apart from churches and their perfectly reserved frescos will see daily life areas of monks and nuns.
On the way to Uchisar will stop in Esentepe for a spectacualr wiew of Goreme Valley.
Last stop of the day would be town of Uchisar and Uchisar Castle. You would see how the poeple shape the rock for their own use as living, working and defencing area which mostly still in use.
After 6-7 hours tour will drop back to your hotel or any central point you prefred as end of daily discovering of Cappadocia.
